Well part of my new year's resolutions was to learn how to hand embroider (check) and to learn to sew. I took a sewing class and O am so uncomfortable when I try to use the mchine. It just goes so fast! I can't sew in a stratight line and I can't find anything super, super easy to sew just to practice. It is frustrating because I see all these patterns and I want to make them all until I open them up and read the directions, and have no clue what it is trying to say to me.
I have gotten better with the hand embroidery - it is something that I have really practice and be consistent with.
I also found this key rack that I totally want to make! So cute!
It is a shame that it cost so much to try to be crafty. There are so manythings I want to make and I just don't have the funds to do them all. =(
I guess I need to slow down and take one thing on at a time.

back to reality...
We arrived home last night and now I am sitting at work! Yuck! Happy to be home but not happy to be at work! I am still on Pacific time, so all I want to do is crawl into bed right now and sleep for 4 hours. Anyway,so the night before we went to Vegas I left my phone at my favorite store Target. They called and said they had it, but I let them know our flight left early the next morning (before the store opened up again) andwe would have to pick it up later. My mom came back into town and i sent her to Target to pick it up. It was nowhere to be found! Not in the safe, not in the lost and found! The girl my mom met with said she was the one that called and she had it in her hand late Wednesday night. Now it is gone! They said they would check the video at guest services, but everytime I call no one knows a thing about it! So today I will venture over there to talk to someone in person. Luckily I had an extra phone but there are no numbers! I am lost! I realize it was my fault for leaving my phone, but then they called and said they had it and now they can't locate it. What do you think?

wedding weekend part 7? the reception
My dad rented this hug limo that carried 30 people over to Ruth's Chris Steak House. He also got the bridal party their own limo also. We had a lovely dinner and my wedding cake was to die for - buttercream frosting with chocolate mousse in between the cake layers! It was yummy! Luckily I still have some in the frig that I am snacking on.
Wedding weekend part 6
My Matron of Honor Liz helped me get dressed while my mom helped me touch up everything. We ventured downstairs to the chapel and waited in the bride's room enjoying champagne while we waited for the ceremony to start. I was completely cool up to the very last minute. I had that sensation go through me when I realized it was time for my father to walk me down the aisle. I did tear up quite a bit. But I felt like I was drifting on a cloud. I was so light on my feet. The ceremony lasted not even 10 minutes. It was great!
Wedding weekend part 5 -getting ready!

today is the big day!
I sit here on my wedding day just thinking about how this engagement has flown by. I am not quite sure if I am nervous. I am sure I will be once I see my hair and make up done for me. SO far Las Vegas has been wonderful - we are staying at The hotel at Mandalay Bay which is gorgeous. I am in heaven! Well I am off to go and have breakfast and enjoy my day!

3 days...
Wow! 3 days! I leave tomorrow for Vegas and haven't even started packing! I did make a list of what I needed to pack! I just have been so busy. I am leaving work early today to do it all. One more tanning session, another workout at the gym, more teeth whitening, and packing! Mr. M and I are trying to save a little money and will attempt to pack eveything into one suitcase and one carryone each! NWA is making us pay $15 for the first bag and $25 for second bag. So hopefully I can manage that. I will be carrying my dress on the plane so that will keep my hands full! I will be sure to post a lot of pics. I will bring my laptop to Vegas -we are going to need it for our slideshow and I can't live without checking my email and blogger updates at least once a day. There is no way I could do without it for 11 days!

I can't wait to lay out by a pool with a book and sleep in every morning! It will be great!

Bachelorette party pictures
Sat. night we had sushi at Sekisui Midtown - which was yummy! I had to have my favorite - the Lori roll! I was given my Suck for a Buck bouquet - where people could buy blowpops from me for a $1. I sold 15! I had my diamond ring tiara and veil on and a bride to be sash that was "blinged" out! Next we went to the Blue Monkey - where they opened my bachelorette dares book. I had several dares to complete and used many of my drink coupons! We then decided to brave the snow and headed downtown. Now from midtown it takes 5 minutes to get downtown. This particular snowy night it took like 30 minutes. We made it to a snow covered Beale street with a few people outside having snowball fights. We ventured into Silky's for a while and then headed to Club 152. Many drinks were consumed! We had a fabulous time even when mother nature threw us for a loop!
