I work at a public middle school and I was walking down the hall today and overheard a girl (12 years old) talking to another student.
She said, "I hate that I am the only one single of all of my best friends. It just sucks."

I'm trying to remember what I was worrying about at 12...I don't think it was anything to do with being single though!
